Meet Our Coaches
The Tiger Sharks coaches have 39 years of combined swim team coaching experience. To better help parents and swimmers know their coaches, here's a little more info about them.
Sheri Rhodes, Assistant Coach
Sheri swam competitively for Bishop Hartley Hawks and Livmoor Sea Kings swim teams. She has been coaching the Tiger Sharks for 7 years. Sheri's favorite stroke is the backstroke.
Sheri is the Pre-School Director at the All Saints Academy where she also coached basketball and volleyball. Sheri's daughter swims for the Tiger Sharks. GO ABBY!
Dave Watros, Assistant Coach & Team Contact
Dave swam competitively in high school for the Warren G. Harding Panthers. His personal favorite events are the breaststroke and individual medley. Dave has been coaching swim teams for 29 years. His experience includes coaching the Pickerington North Panthers and Pickerington Central Tigers swim teams.
Dave is an English teacher at Pickerington North. Dave's son swims for the Tiger Sharks. GO ALEX!
Noah Worobetz, Head Coach
Noah is a member of The Ohio State University Swim Team. Before OSU, he swam for Countryside YMCA (13 years) and was a member of their national team (4 years). Noah also swam for Moeller High School and was state qualifier/finalist 3 of his 4 years on the team. As a senior, he was the team captain.. His favorite strokes are Back (100/200) and IM (200/400).
At OSU, Noah is majoring in exercise science with a minor in nutritional science.
Jill Rhodes, Assistant Coach
Jill swam competitively for the Tiger Sharks swim team from a young age and also swam varsity all four years of high school. She graduated from Bishop Hartley in 2016 and was a swim team captain her senior year. Jill is also a coach for the Cap City Swim Club and the Green Wave Swim Team. Her favorite events are the 50 free, 100 free, 50 butterfly, and 100 butterfly. Her sister also swims for the Tiger Sharks! Go Abby!
Delaney Burns, Junior Coach
Delaney is a 2017 graduate of Pickerington High School Central, where she was a four-year letter winner on the swim team. She was team captain her senior year.
Delaney has been a Tiger Shark almost her whole life; she also swam for GCSTO. Last summer she enjoyed coaching the 6 & under swimmers and is looking forward to another great season devoted to swimming and coaching. As a head lifeguard at the pool, Delaney will be easy to find this summer! In the fall, she plans to attend John Carroll University and major in early childhood education. Go Tiger Sharks!!
